Intimacy baking
Intimacy Baking is a storefront centered on creating meaningful connections through baking. Inspired by the concept of paint-and-sip, it offers couples, families, or friends the chance to bake together, share quality time, and enjoy wine or juice in a warm, inviting atmosphere. Designing the brand identity required a focus on being welcoming, fun, and intimate, while reflecting the core value of love at the heart of the experience.
Background
The inspiration for Intimacy Baking was born from my love of baking pastries with my girlfriend. It became more than just mixing ingredients—it was a cherished bonding experience filled with laughter, connection, and the joy of creating something together. I wanted to bring that same magic to others by designing a space where couples, families, and friends could come together to bake from scratch, share meaningful moments, and strengthen their bonds. Intimacy Baking transforms the kitchen into a canvas for love and creativity, offering an experience as delightful as the treats they’ll create.

Approach
My approach began with gathering insights through interviews with friends, acquaintances, and random individuals. I wanted to understand if this concept resonated with people and what their ideal experience would look like. Using this valuable feedback, I created a series of mockups to explore different ideas, refining them into a cohesive vision that aligned with the overall experience I wanted to deliver.

With the foundation set, I developed a style guide to ensure consistency and created a variety of mockups that brought the brand to life, blending creativity with user-focused design to craft an engaging and meaningful identity.

Next, I moved into sketching logo concepts, revising them based on feedback from potential customers. Once the final logo was chosen, I opted for a red and white color scheme. These colors not only symbolize love and intimacy, often associated with Valentine’s Day, but are also visually striking and attention-grabbing.
Impact
The thoughtful design and user-focused approach resonated deeply with the audience, creating a brand that not only fosters connection and intimacy but also inspires action. The concept's ability to evoke emotions tied to love and togetherness, paired with its visually striking red and white identity, captured attention and sparked genuine interest. People were so moved by the idea that they expressed a desire to invest in it, eager to see Intimacy Baking come to life and bring its unique, bonding experience to communities everywhere.
